Murray Fire Station 81

This new two-story 23,255 square foot state-of-the-art fire station will replace the former headquarters built in 1979. Project features include 5 apparatus bays, staff sleeping quarters, chief office and sleeping quarters, training room, kitchen, fitness room, living room, community room, fire marshal facilities, fire chief and deputy fire chief facilities, and a large communications room.

This station provides a strong street orientation and serves as a civic beacon for the newly developed Murray City Center Downtown area.

Protecting the community through thoughtful design

Project is designed to LEED Silver standards. Sustainable features include low VOC materials and finished with high recycled content, clerestory windows above apparatus bay doors provide natural daylighting.

Exterior features include two-inch continuous rigid insulation and high-performance insulated metal panels configured in a running bond design to compliment the custom blended brick veneer.
