Kenney Nichols, AIA, is a licensed architect and Principal of Think Architecture with expertise in commercial and multi-family residential design. Prior to the creation of Think Architecture, he was a Principal Architect with ASWN+ where he spent the last 20 years focusing on the commercial, industrial and multi-family project sectors.

Notable past projects include: the Workers Compensation Fund Headquarters and the South Towne Corporate Center Towers in Sandy, Utah and the Hills at Renaissance Apartments in Woods Cross, Utah.

Mr. Nichols earned a Master’s of Architecture and a Bachelor’s degree in geography and urban planning from the University of Utah. He is the recipient of numerous design awards, is an active member of the American Institute of Architects and holds his NCARB certification. He served as a member of the Utah State Architectural Advisory Committee with responsibilities for guiding the State Building Code, as well as serving on the Sandy City Architectural Review Committee where he provided direction and recommendations to the Planning Commission on architectural design and materials, as well as input on the development code, design standards and guidelines.

Kenney lives in East Millcreek with his family and enjoys golfing, skiing and spending as much time as possible in Southern Utah.
