Nothing screams mountainside escape like a custom home in the Woodland Hills of Utah. From the unobstructed views of the Wasatch Mountain Range to living a short distance from world-famous ski resorts, mountainside living is high on many homebuyers’ list of wants. But residing in Utah is even better in a custom home. Think Architecture teamed up with developers of the Summit Creek residential community to design two show homes for the Parade of Homes. One home followed a Mountain Craftsman style to be repeated as a semi-custom design throughout the community. The other Parade Home showcased a truly custom contemporary style. The main focus of the custom contemporary home’s design is indoor/ outdoor living. To achieve this floorplan, the home features expansive windows, organic details, and a layout that flows from the living room directly into the lower-level patio and pool. The modern exterior combines a blend of beige stone and natural wood siding with vertical-line details, while the eclectic design perfectly blends into Summit Creek’s mountainous surroundings.

Sited on an idyllic, north-facing bench of the majestic Wasatch Range, this Summit Creek custom home is a blend of contemporary and mountain craftsman architecture. Its unique style complements the recreation, seclusion, and simplicity of mountain living.
Our designers infused plenty of organic materials and immense windows into the custom home’s remarkable interior for stunning views of nearby majestic mountains, valleys, and lake views. These features help complement and enhance the generous 7,759-square-foot indoor/outdoor floor plan. Since the site is located in a colder environment, these expansive windows also lend natural warmth to the home thanks to all the sunlight they capture.
The state-of-the-art kitchen and adjacent living space float above a covered deck basking in awe-inspiring vistas of the Woodland Hills. Residents can enjoy the design of our entertainer’s basement, complete with a game room, wet bar, indoor turf sports field. The mirrored fitness room and sauna lead to an outdoor pool and spa, both by way of floor-to-ceiling glass doors. The design also focused on contemporary details by using fun colors and natural wood, stone, and steel materials. A Judge’s Choice Award winner at the Utah Valley Parade of Homes, the Summit Creek custom home is a landmark of its community.
