At Think Architecture, we know that a love for design often starts early—and for Preston Sorenson, it started with a computer and a lot of curiosity. As one of our newest BIM Operators, Preston brings an authentic passion for architecture, a readiness to learn, and a warm, down-to-earth energy that already makes him a valued member of the team.
From Childhood Curiosity to Career Path
“I’ve always loved architecture,” Preston shares. “I remember messing around with AutoCAD on my dad’s computer when I was a kid. I didn’t know what I was doing, but I loved it.”
That early interest stuck. Now, Preston is channeling that same enthusiasm into his work at Think, where he’s eager to keep learning and growing in a field that’s always fascinated him.
A Place to Grow and Connect
When asked what he’s most excited about in his new role, Preston lights up. “Honestly? Just learning as much as I can,” he says. “There’s so much knowledge in this firm—I’m excited to soak it all in, gain experience, and hopefully make some good friends along the way.”
His appreciation for connection, growth, and collaboration aligns perfectly with the culture at Think.
