Overcoming Challenges with Determination

The path to licensure involved formidable challenges, including the Architect Registration Examination (ARE). Cory reflects on the rigor of his licensure exams: “The final ARE exams were the most intense part of the process, surpassing even the challenge of earning dual master’s degrees in architecture and business administration from the University of Utah.” Successfully completing the exams elicited a deep sense of achievement and appreciation.

Guidance and Growth through Key Projects

Cory’s journey at Think Architecture has been marked by numerous accomplishments and invaluable learning experiences. With the support and mentorship of experienced colleagues like Jim Poloncic and Jered Plouzek, Cory has grown tremendously as a professional. “Jim and Jered have guided and taught with patience,” he says, acknowledging the positive impact of our firm’s collaborative environment.

Cory has played a critical role in several key projects that have contributed to his development as an architect. As the principal drafter for multiple chapel projects for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he has helped create spaces that serve as central community hubs. He has also contributed to designing the Layton and Park City Fire Stations and served as the main draftsperson for the Saratoga Springs Police and Courthouse. Each of these projects showcases Cory’s dedication to thoughtful design and his growing expertise in the field.

Looking to Future Endeavors

With his licensure, Cory’s role at Think Architecture will naturally expand, allowing him to take on more projects and responsibilities. This step reflects his proven abilities and sets the stage for practical contributions to our ongoing and future projects.

We celebrate Cory Ingersoll’s licensure as a testament to his hard work and dedication to architecture. We look forward to his continued contributions and leadership in creating spaces that resonate with and enrich the communities we serve.

Congratulations, Cory, on achieving this significant professional milestone!
