JOHN C. MAAS
|John Maas is a Principal of Think Architecture with expertise in Landscape Architecture and Land Planning. Prior to the creation of Think Architecture, he was a Principal with ASWN+ where he spent the last 27 years focusing on institutional and parks/open space planning projects.
Notable projects include: Rio Tinto Stadium/Real Salt Lake, Vista Baseball Park, Jordan River Parkway, Southwest Regional Park, Wheadon Farm Park, Riverton City Park, Wheeler Farm and Dimple Dell Regional Park.
John has a Master of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning degree from Utah State University and Bachelor of Fine Arts – Art and Design degree from Brigham Young University. He is a registered landscape architect in the states of Utah and Idaho. He served on the Layton City Planning Commission for nine years. This appointment provided him with in-depth familiarity with local government and a comprehensive perspective on municipal growth, planning and development.
John lives in Bountiful, Utah with his wife, Shauna.
